-DEAR MARGARETTE- A letter to an almost one year old princess.

'Lil princess you know what? It's already June 22 today; four days to go and you're already one year old. Time to celebrate right?  Like mom always told you even you haven't understand those words yet "Mom always want the best for you", "Mom always wanna give anything you need. Everything that every babies should have." Someday you'll read this and I know you'll understand what I am feeling right now.

Margarette baby, you're really growing up as a smart little girl. You're walking already, you know how to handle your Mother Goose Rhymes with care, you know where the ABC chart is and you talk a lot. You know mom when I'm mad of what you're doing and you already knows how to obey me. You know how to wake up daddy and kiss him. You're such a drama queen, you can easily let your tears fall from your eyes. You are a future diva, you can sing with Dora the Explorer and the Backyardigans. You are a great dancer, already knows how to follow DJ Lances move in Yo Gabba Gabba and you love "So You Think You Can Dance". You're really an amazing baby. You know how to make mom and dad smile. Your laughs are my energizer, your moves are my vitamins but when you cry, I panicked.

I believe we are providing you with your basic needs but your dad and I believes that we must enjoy your 1st birthday together. We will laugh all day and that for us is the happiest. You will as well blow a candle in a cake on your birthday June 26 at 5:35 AM. But we wanted just the three of us on that special day. Your first year here on Earth is the best  year for us. Having you in our life is the best gift we ever received from God. We are the proudest parent for having a baby like you.

We love you dear so much. Advance Happy 1st Birthday our princess Maggie!

ALL ABOUT MAGGIE

Yesterday, Maggie had her first major move toward independence. After all the sliding and falling, she totters hesitantly into my waiting arms. Ten little and slow baby steps is a good job for a beginner and I was so proud of what she did.

Aside of standing or kneeling in front of her and holding out my arms, words of encouragement did help my Maggie to develop self confidence for this new activity. Some of those words that you can as well use for your own baby are: "Baby come here sweetie.", "Darling you can do it, look at me baby i'm just here, I wont let you down. Trust me dear. Don't be afraid. You need to walk. Come closer. Step right, step left. Make me proud honey." Then repeat over and over until she got your point.

What to expect then to my baby on the move? We'll see.
